Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently unwell and canceled all his engagements on Tuesday. Now Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at the oath-taking ceremony of the Iranian President in Tehran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to his duties as Deputy Prime Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who also serves as the Foreign Minister, is scheduled to depart for Tehran today.<\/p>\n

During his visit, he will lead the Pakistani delegation at the swearing-in ceremony of the Iranian President.<\/p>\n

Ishaq Dar is expected to hold a significant meeting with the Secretary General of the Commonwealth to discuss Pakistan’s diplomatic relations and regional cooperation.<\/p>\n

The government has expressed confidence in Deputy Prime Minister Dar’s ability to effectively represent Pakistan and manage international engagements during Prime Minister Sharif’s recovery.<\/p>\n

Earlier,\u00a0Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei formally endorsed Masoud Pezeshkian as Iran’s new president. Iran\u2019s supreme leader handed over the signed decree to Pezeshkian.<\/p>\n
