{"id":8245,"date":"2024-08-01T16:38:23","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T11:38:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=8245"},"modified":"2024-08-01T16:39:30","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T11:39:30","slug":"no-need-to-freak-out-even-if-debt-has-raised-to-130bn-ishaq-dar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=8245","title":{"rendered":"No need to freak out even if debt has raised to $130bn, Ishaq Dar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said on Thursday there was no need to worry as Pakistan was on its way to financial stability.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ishaq Dar, while addressing a gathering on Thursday, said there was a strong need to curb negative behaviour in society.<\/p>\n<p>He said the potential to accelerate the economy existed in Pakistan and all it needed was to remove the barriers stopping the country from financial stability.<\/p>\n<p>He also warned that elements are present in and outside Pakistan, who want it to end up as a default state. \u201cOn the other hand, the government is working on a single agenda and that is to save Pakistan from bankruptcy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dar reiterated that &#8220;we are strongly facing all the challenges.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Even with limited resources the government was working continuously on developmental projects, Dar said.<\/p>\n<p>The foreign minister claimed that the inflation rate had reduced from 30 percent to 10 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe fought bravely for 15 months to save Pakistan from bankruptcy and we succeeded.
