The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 12 terrorists while conducting operations in 3 cities including Lahore.The terrorists belong to the outlawed Al-Qaeda and TTP.
In view of the fears of terrorism, CTD arrested 12 terrorists in 3 cities including Lahore.
According to CTD officials, the terrorists were identified during the investigation of 61 suspects, 3 terrorists were arrested from Lahore near the sensitive area, the terrorists are related to the outlawed Al-Qaeda and TTP.
Officials say that explosive materials and equipment for making suicide vests have been recovered from the terrorists, the terrorist networks wanted to carry out sabotage in sensitive districts.
CTD officials said that the investigation is ongoing by filing cases against the arrested terrorists, 797 combing and search operations were conducted this week, 159 suspects were arrested during the operations.
