The project director of the Anti-Rabies Control Program has stated that an app has been developed for lodging complaints regarding stray dogs.
A hearing was held in the Sindh High Court on the action against stray dogs and non-supply of vaccines in Shahr e Quaid.
The Project Director Anti-Rabies Control Program filed a reply in the court stating that the helpline 1093 for reporting dog bite incidents has been reinstated.
In the response submitted to the court, it was stated that more than 19 thousand dogs were vaccinated from January 2022 to March 2024, rabies control centers have been set up in four districts. Laws have been made to control the growing population of stray dogs.
