Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif expressed strong support for taking decisive action against political rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, stating that they were unaware that he was a terrorist.
Speaking to media in London, Nawaz Sharif backed the Joint Investigation Team’s (JIT) action against Imran Khan, referencing his terrorist connections.
“He is a fraud and everyone knows it, but we did not know he was a terrorist, and this is not an ordinary form of terrorism,” Nawaz Sharif stated.
Nawaz Sharif also remarked that “We have never seen such a massive fraud and terrorism in Pakistani politics before.”
“Why were petrol bombs used? So that the police could be burned to death. Who taught them this? This is the first time a political party has adopted such an approach,” Nawaz Sharif added.
The former Prime Minister further stated that “this is unacceptable and complete action should be taken against them.”
