Donny Roelvink, a famous Dutch actor and model, gained attention recently when he publicly declared that he converted to Islam. He shared a moment of reciting the Kalma in a mosque on Instagram.

Roelvink was severely injured during a shoot when a car struck him and damaged his ribs last year. Additionally, he was diagnosed with cancer but successfully healed after undergoing complex treatment.
Currently, he is in the UAE, where he visited many mosques and closely observed the entire month of Ramadan in a mosque. Ultimately, he embraced Islam.
As reported by a Dutch newspaper, Roelvink said in a video message, “I don’t think many people have noticed that I had a special day yesterday,” he said while referring to the day he accepted Islam.
He continued, “Pictures were taken of this, posted online, and widely reported in the media. That was to be expected when I do that in the presence of a large group of people.”
