A farmer's family in the Amreli district of the Indian state of Gujarat has become a news item due to an unusual action they have taken.

Now another such strange but interesting incident happened in the Indian state of Gujarat where the last rites of a 12-year-old car were performed in which more than 1500 people participated.
According to Indian media, a video of the last rites of a 12-year-old car in Amreli district is going viral on social media, in which the car can be seen being decorated like a bride and then being buried in the ground.
According to the report, this car belongs to a person named Sanjay Palura, who has a construction business in Surat. She first decorated her car with flowers like a bride and then brought it to her agricultural land where after performing the last rites, she was buried in a fifteen feet deep pit (grave).
In the last rites, after wrapping the car in a green cloth, traditional pooja was performed and flowers were also showered on it and Pandits also recited kalaams and garba around the car.
More than 1500 people including Sanjay's family and friends participated in this last rites ceremony.
Sanjay Palura told local media that this car was very lucky for him. When he bought this car 12 years ago, after that his family got a lot of prosperity and the business grew double day, quadruple night which also increased our social status.
He said that instead of selling the car that changed our fortunes, we decided to pay homage to it with full honours.
