ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the world wanted Pakistan to default and become a spectacle of Pakistan in the world, but we did not allow it to happen.
In a statement given in the Senate, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that foreign exchange reserves in the country have reached 13 to 14 billion dollars, efforts are being made to increase them to 15 to 16 billion.
The Finance Minister said that we were the 24th largest economy in the world in terms of better economic conditions, but due to wrong decisions, we slipped to the 47th position. Now, we have begun the journey back towards the 24th position of a better economy.
