Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Advisor Anwar ul Haq Kakar will chair a federal cabinet meeting today, focusing on garnering the cabinet’s confidence regarding his international visits.
According to details, Advisor to the Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar has requested a federal cabinet meeting today. Sources suggest the cabinet meeting will take place at 4:30 PM, where the current security and law and order situation in the country will be discussed.
The cabinet meeting will deliberate on the country’s economic and financial situation, and brief the cabinet on Prime Minister Anwar ul haq Kakar’s visits to the United States, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Prime Minister’s Advisor Kakar will seek the cabinet’s confidence on his international visits.
It should be noted that 54 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the explosion in Mastung district of Balochistan on Friday. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Mastung Nawaz Gashkuri was among the dead.
The police stated that the blast was a “suicide bombing” and the bomber detonated near the vehicle of DSP Gishkori.
Meanwhile, on Friday, 4 more people were martyred and 5 injured in an explosion inside a mosque located in Doaba police station in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
