During the hearing, the letter of the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf was presented in the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice said that according to the letter, the founder of PTI wants to appear in a personal capacity. Justice Athar Minullah said that if they want to appear in a personal capacity, how can they be stopped?
The Chief Justice remarked that this matter is not about personal rights but about amendments in the law. If it was a personal matter, he would have come forward. How can a common man assist the court? If the appearance in the court is to be used for any other purpose, it will be examined.
Chief Justice Qazi Faizaisa said that this has become a strange situation, NAB is also a supporter of the government in this case, the founder PTI should be given an opportunity to hear the position of the other side. Now they are the opposite party in the appeal, they are not represented here.
