Before the arrival of Eid al-Adha, chicken prices have further increased, with chicken meat becoming 90 rupees more expensive per kilogram in just three days.
In Lahore, the price of broiler chicken meat rose by an additional 32 rupees today, reaching up to 516 rupees per kilogram. The price of broiler chicken meat had increased by 46 rupees yesterday and by 12 rupees on June 9. Consequently, there has been a significant increase of 90 rupees in the price within three days.
The live broiler chicken rate has reached 343 rupees, while the wholesale rate has reached up to 356 rupees per kilogram. Additionally, farm eggs have also become 7 rupees more expensive. With this increase, the price per dozen eggs has risen from 237 to 244 rupees.
