The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and the federal sensitive agency foiled a major terrorist plan in Rawalpindi, two most wanted terrorists were arrested during the operation.
The terrorists took pictures of various places in the twin cities and sent them to the commander in Afghanistan.
Both the most wanted terrorists belong to the Haji Faqir group of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
CTD Punjab has identified the terrorists as Hayatullah and Wakil Khan.
The terrorists revealed that they had planned to attack Rawalpindi police lines.
Police Station Sadar Baruni and District Courts Rawalpindi were targeted by terrorists, St. Paul’s Church was also targeted by Haji Faqir group.
