Masatsu Gwasakawa, President of the Asian Development Bank, has announced an aid of 2 billion dollars for Pakistan.
The President of ADB made this announcement during a meeting with the President of the State Asif Ali Zardari, on this occasion the President of the State urged to increase cooperation from ADB to deal with the effects of climate change.
Asif Zardari also apprised Masatsu Gwasakawa about the economic challenges facing Pakistan and said that the war against terrorism has caused a lot of economic damage to the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the President of the Asian Bank said that Pakistan is facing severe effects of climate change, ADB will provide annual assistance of 2 billion dollars to Pakistan in the next 3 years.
