According to Indian media, a strange incident occurred when a person suffered a stroke after a head massage by a barber.
A 30-year-old man in the Bellary district of the Indian state of Karnataka suffered a life-and-death struggle after getting a free head massage.
After returning home, the citizen began to lose the ability to speak and felt weakness on his left side. Due to this, his artery has ruptured, which has caused a stroke due to impaired blood flow to his brain.
The citizen was saved from further bleeding with blood thinners after which he was sent back home. According to doctors, the patient may take 2 months to recover.
Doctors said that twisting the neck rapidly during massage can cause the risk of blood vessels bursting which can lead to a life-threatening stroke.
