Lahore: Due to worsening smog conditions, the Punjab government has decided to initiate talks with neighboring country India through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the report, during a press conference in Lahore yesterday, Punjab’s Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb warned citizens about the smog coming from India, stating that winds are expected to blow towards Lahore for at least one week.
The provincial minister said that due to the easterly winds coming from Amritsar and Chandigarh, the air quality index in Lahore has crossed the 1000 mark for the past two days.
