Security forces killed 8 expatriates in Miran Shah district of North Waziristan after conducting a successful intelligence-based operation on the presence of Khawarij.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), 6 Khawarjis were also injured during the operation, as a clearance operation is underway to eliminate possible foreign terrorists in the area.
On the other hand, security forces killed 4 terrorists during a tip-off operation in Balgutar area of Kech district of Balochistan province.
According to the statement of ISPR, 4 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Kech district of Balochistan.
Commander Sana alias Baru used to recruit suicide bombers in Makran division, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
After the operation, the clearance operation is going on to eliminate the terrorists in the area.
The ISPR said that the security forces are committed to end terrorism in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the security forces for the successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Kech district.
In his statement, he said that terrorists will never be allowed to spoil the development and prosperity of Balochistan and peace and order. The entire nation appreciates the services of the security forces for the peace and stability of Balochistan.
The President of the State reiterated his determination to continue operations till the end of the menace of terrorism.
