Following the arrest of Imran Khan, there has been a disruption in internet services across the country. Mobile broadband services are down, causing most people to be unable to use the internet on their phones.
Social media services, including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp, have also been shut down.
However, cable networks that provide internet services in different areas are still working, allowing people to use the internet. Similarly, internet is also available on landlines.
The company that monitors internet on a global level, NetBlocks, has stated that companies providing internet services in Pakistan are facing difficulties, and has confirmed that internet has been completely shut down in some areas.
