It has been agreed that the passing marks should be minimum 40 in education boards across the country.A two-day meeting of the committee four chairmen of the education boards of the country was held in which the 21-point agenda was considered and important issues were agreed upon.
During the meeting, the committee agreed to lower the passing marks to a minimum of 40 percent. Furthermore, it was also agreed to make the study of the Quran compulsory for Muslim students of matriculation and intermediate levels.
The chairpersons of the boards also reached a consensus on introducing uniform result cards throughout the country. Additionally, it was agreed to conduct examinations in May and June instead of March and April.
Furthermore, in the meeting, the appointment of the chairman of the Inter-Board Sports Committee for the upcoming year was decided, and the Balochistan Board will chair the Inter-Board Sports Committee for the next year.
