The Tosha Khana case against Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),Imran Khan will be heard again today, the court has summoned both the witnesses today.
Yesterday, the Additional Sessions Judge of Islamabad had granted a one-day exemption from appearance to the Chairman of PTI.
Last day during the hearing Election Commission lawyer Saad Hassan, Chairman PTI lawyers Sher Afzal Marwat and Khawaja Haris appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the Election Commission’s lawyer, Saad Hassan, and Chairman PTI’s lawyer, Khwaja Haris, presented their arguments.
The lawyer of the Election Commission, Saad Hassan, had stated in his arguments yesterday that he was not presenting any new documents in court, but rather providing evidence on the documents already submitted to the court.
He said that the bank account in Bank Alfalah is in the name of Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi. According to Imran Khan, he transferred the Tosha Khana money in the bank. The documents were submitted to the court before the accused individual had surrendered the amount to the court.
