The examination schedule for Matric (10th grade) and Intermediate (12th grade) has been changed throughout Sindh. In a meeting of the Chairpersons of educational boards nationwide, it was decided to modify the examination schedule for Matric and Intermediate in Sindh.
Chairman of the Matric Board, Ashraf Ali Shah, presided over the meeting of the Inter Board’s Coordination Committee, which approved the schedule changes.
According to the new schedule, Matric exams in Sindh will now take place in March instead of May, while the Intermediate exams will be held in March, following the conclusion of the Matric exams, and in April.
In this meeting, the decisions taken in the previous meeting were also approved. As per these decisions, the passing marks for exams have been increased from 33% to 40%. Additionally, at the Matric level, knowledge of the Holy Quran will now be mandatory. Moreover, chess has also been included as a sport in the Inter Board competitions.
