The first-of-its-kind and unique cycling track being constructed in Lahore has deteriorated due to the negligence of the district administration.
The district administration of Lahore forgot to make a cycling track for the citizens and now this track is not for cyclists but it has become a haven for drug addicts and a habitat for stray animals.
This first-of-its-kind cycling track was built 3 years ago by the district administration of Lahore with claims that it would be the first ‘entertainment hub’ along the BRB Link Canal.
It was claimed that a food court will be built here, bicycles will be available to the citizens and jogging tracks will be separated for walkers.
But the situation is the opposite, the forests of the cycling track have rotted, drug addicts destroy the forests while the name and brand of the track is also disappearing.
