The World Heart Federation has reported a significant rise in the mortality rate due to heart diseases. According to the report, the global mortality rate from heart diseases has increased by 60% in the last 30 years.
The report by the World Heart Federation stated that in 1990, there were 1.21 million deaths caused by heart diseases.
Furthermore, the report highlighted that in 2021, there have been a recorded 2.1 million deaths worldwide due to heart diseases.
According to the report, low- and middle-income countries have witnessed a higher increase in deaths from heart diseases compared to high-income nations.
