Karachi: Ali Zaidi, the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh, has announced his resignation from politics. He has also stepped down from the position of PTI Sindh President.
In his video statement, Ali Zaidi, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, stated that whatever happened on May 9 should not have occurred, and he strongly condemns all those events. He further stated that after careful consideration, he has made the difficult decision to leave politics and resign from all positions within PTI.
He further expressed that he entered politics to serve Pakistan, and he has always served the country and will continue to do so in the future. However, he reiterated his condemnation of the events that unfolded on May 9.
Ali Zaidi emphasized in his statement that the Pakistan Armed Forces are our pride, and we sleep peacefully because they protect our borders. Whatever happened was wrong, and it is necessary to impose strict punishments on all those involved in these events.
