Posting on social networking site X, A.R. Rahman wrote that he had hoped to spend 30 years with his wife but it seems that all things come to an end.
He further said that even the throne of God can tremble under the weight of broken hearts, yet we find meaning in this brokenness even though the pieces do not fit together. He thanked all his loved ones who sympathized with him during this difficult time, expressed good wishes, and respected his privacy.
A.R. Rehman’s children have also appealed to users to respect their privacy. He wrote on his official Instagram account that we would be very happy if this matter is treated with respect and privacy. Thank you all very much for understanding us.
It should be noted that Saira Banu, the wife of India’s famous musician and singer A.R. Rahman, has announced her separation from her husband after 29 years of marriage.
The statement added that despite their deep love for each other, the couple has realized that stress and difficulties have created a wide gap between them, which neither party is currently able to bridge.
