Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced to auction the gifts of Tosha khana. Shahbaz Sharif said that the gifts of the Tosha Khana will go to the institutions of orphan boys and girls.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, during a meeting with delegations from the Broadcaster Association, APNS, and CPNE, stated that the gifts of Tosha Khana will be auctioned, and the proceeds will be allocated to orphanages and institutions for children.
He mentioned that when we came into power, we were aware of challenging circumstances, but we didn’t fully realize the severity of the crisis until we took on the responsibility. After assuming power, we realized the extent of the dire situation.
Shahbaz Sharif said that unfortunately, the past four years were wasted in tarnishing the image of political opponents instead of serving the nation.
He said that if Pakistan had defaulted, smoke would have stopped coming out of the chimneys of the industry and lines would have been established to procure petrol.
The Prime Minister stated that our friendly countries had conditionalized funds through agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to conduct transactions, and our agreement with the IMF has been fulfilled.
He pointed out that it is now up to the present or future governments whether they want to save the state and strengthen it or not. He questioned whether Pakistan should import goods instead of focusing on domestic production.
Shahbaz Sharif said that I announce to auction all the gifts in the Tosha Khana, however, orphans and organizations supporting orphans will be able to participate in this auction.
