The Ministry of Information Technology Syed Amin ul Haq has introduced the alternative app ‘Beep Pakistan’ to the world’s largest instant application WhatsApp.

The mentioned application, ‘Beep Pakistan,’ has been developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and will initially be utilized within the ministry.
During the launch event of the application, Amin ul Haq revealed that ‘Beep Pakistan’ will be initially used by officials from the Ministry of Information Technology and NITB.
According to him, a month later, the trial of this application will be expanded, reaching all federal government employees, ensuring that every employee gains access to the application.
He stated that government employees will be using this application for a year, after which it will be rolled out to the general public.
Highlighting the security features of the application, Syed Amin ul Haq claimed that ‘Beep Pakistan’ is a secure application where concerns about document, image, and video leaks do not arise. The data of the application will not be accessible to third parties.
He elaborated on the features of ‘Beep Pakistan,’ mentioning that it will support audio and video calls, including conference calls, and will include features similar to the ‘Zoom’ application.
