The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold a crucial meeting tomorrow, chaired by Mohsin Raza Naqvi, to approve the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25.
In addition to the budget discussion, the PCB Governing Board will review the performance of the national cricket team and address issues related to the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Chairman Naqvi will provide a detailed briefing on his actions and strategies to the board members.
The Chairman is also expected to present plans for the upgrade of major cricket stadiums in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. These upgrades are aimed at improving the infrastructure and facilities to support both local and international matches.
The meeting will be attended by notable officials, including Mustafa Ramde, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Azad Kashmir Cricket Association President Sajjad Khokhar, Dera Murad Jamali Cricket Association President Zafarullah Jindal, Larkana Association President Tanveer Ahmed, Bahawalpur Cricket Association President Tariq Sarwar, SNGPL representative Ismail Qureshi, Anwar Ahmed Khan of Ghani Glass, State Bank representative Javed Iqbal, Osama Azhar of PTV, and a representative of the Cabinet Committee.
This meeting is expected to set the tone for the future direction of cricket in Pakistan, addressing both immediate needs and long-term strategies.
