A new bench appointed to hear the case related to the Senate elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also been dissolved as Justice Jamal Mandukhel apologized for hearing the case.
Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial had formed a 4-member bench today and issued a cause list for the day. The hearing was scheduled for 11:30 AM, but the bench was dissolved for the second time after Justice Jamal Mandukhel’s apology.
The bench was headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and included Justice Aijazul Ahsan, Justice Munib Akhtar, and Justice Jamal Mandukhel.
It is worth mentioning that Justice Aminuddin Khan had also apologized for hearing the case yesterday, which had resulted in the bench being dissolved.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial had said that Justice Amin has something to say, to which Justice Aminuddin Khan had responded that he wants to apologize for hearing the case in light of Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s verdict.
