In an interview with media representatives, senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Latif Khosa, stated that PPP is a part of the government, not Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). He further added that PPP was founded by the late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and is currently led by Nusrat Bhutto and the late Benazir Bhutto. They are not a part of the government.
Latif Khosa emphasized that he is one of the most senior leaders in PPP and that he himself represents the true essence of PPP. He further mentioned that they have been with PPP for a long time and have never been associated with any other political party for the sake of inclusion.
Latif Khosa clarified that the current government is led by Shehbaz Sharif and his cabinet and not PPP.
He further stated that the open call for conflict and enmity by Rana Sanaullah is not something that any politician should aspire for. The judiciary, neutrality, and the government are not above the state, and those working in these institutions are the employees of the state.
