Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered a crackdown on those involved in making, selling, and buying metal string for kite flying activities.
A meeting was held on the law and order situation under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, in which IG Punjab gave a briefing.
The Punjab Chief Minister ordered a crackdown on the sale and purchase of metal cords while asking for a daily update report on the crime situation.
He said that after seeing the video of the child killed by the kite string, his heart trembled, and for the implementation of the law, measures are needed on a war footing to prevent kite flying.
The meeting also agreed to develop a fool-proof mechanism to stop drug delivery.
