Atlanta: 2 planes collided at the airport in the US state of Georgia.
According to the foreign news agency, 2 American Airlines planes collided on the runway of Atlanta Airport. A plane bound for Tokyo collided with the back of a Louisiana-bound plane while taxiing on the runway. Due to this, the rear part of the plane turned ninety degrees.
According to airport officials, 221 passengers were on board the flight to Tokyo.
The wing of the second plane was also damaged in the collision between the planes.
The US Transportation Safety Board says authorities are investigating the crash.
