Department of Interior has declared the residence of Ali Zaidi, the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh, as sub-jail in Karachi.
The police have shifted Ali Zaidi to his place of residence.
While speaking to the media, Ali Zaidi, the President of PTI Sindh, expressed gratitude to Allah and stated, “I am thankful that I can breathe. I was supposed to be taken to Jacobabad, but I said my health is not suitable for staying in Karachi. I express my gratitude to the Home Secretary for hearing me out and I still don’t know why I was arrested.”
He further added, “The riots that took place in this city, we know who is behind it. I was trying to stop my people when the police suddenly arrested me.”
Ali Zaidi questioned, “When such a huge protest occurred in France, were they building grounds for insurgency there?”
