Islamabad, the capital city, has reported 45 new cases of dengue, subsequently elevating the total number of individuals affected by this mosquito-borne disease to a significant figure of 187.
According to DHO, within the past 24 hours, Islamabad has reported 45 new cases of dengue, bringing the total number of affected patients in the capital to 187.
As per the report, among the patients affected by the ongoing dengue season, 71 percent are male, while 29 percent are female.
In the rural areas of Islamabad, the total number of dengue cases has reached 129, while in urban areas, a total of 58 individuals have been affected by dengue so far.
The report also states that Holy Family Hospital is currently treating 56 dengue patients, DHQ Hospital is treating 20, Federal General Hospital has 10 patients, and Benazir Bhutto Hospital has 11 patients undergoing treatment for dengue.
