Bollywood actor Salman Khan has appealed to students protesting over the alleged examination paper leak in India to end their demonstrations and return home.
In a statement posted on social media, Salman Khan said that students’ education and safety remain the government’s top priority and urged them not to worry. He added that the Prime Minister had already addressed the issue and expressed confidence that those responsible for the paper leak would face strict action.
The actor called on the students to end their protest and return to their homes.
Salman Khan also appealed to social activist Sonam Wangchuk not to prolong the protest, saying that if necessary, the issue could be raised again in the future.
