A new case of monkeypox has been reported in Karachi, bringing the total number of infections in the city to nine, raising concerns about the public health situation.
According to Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital, another patient has been diagnosed with monkeypox, leading to an increase in the total number of cases, while authorities continue to closely monitor the situation.
Hospital officials stated that the affected patient is 39 years old and a resident of Pathan Colony and is currently receiving all necessary medical care at the hospital to ensure proper treatment.
It is noteworthy that a total of nine individuals have so far been affected by monkeypox in Karachi, prompting relevant authorities to continue taking measures to control the spread of the virus.
