In a press conference held at Bilawal House in Karachi, Sharjeel Inam Memon, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, criticized MQM Pakistan’s stance on the results of the digital population census and the formation of new constituencies. Following their defeat in the upcoming elections, she accused MQM Pakistan of engaging in mere political point-scoring, focusing solely on allegations rather than addressing the issues surrounding the digital census and constituency delineation.
When the People’s Party leader was asked about MQM Pakistan’s objections to the new constituencies, he said that MQM Pakistan only wants delimitations as per its wishes, which is not possible.
He said that if they do not agree with the limits, they should not participate in the elections and should approach the government directly, It is not appropriate to go to the polls with such grievances and then make noise after the election results, The alliance of MQM and Muslim League (N) is as ineffective as the Muslim League (N) in Sindh, Therefore, I predict the defeat of all opponents of the People’s Party in the upcoming elections.
He said that People’s Party has no conflict with Muslim League (N) but it mainly focuses only on Lahore for its political benefit.
