Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has predicted that Karachi may experience its first monsoon rain today. A rise in temperatures has been forecasted for the upcoming days.
He stated that most parts of Karachi are likely to receive light rain, although there could be moderate rainfall in some areas.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, there is no significant spell of heavy rain expected in Karachi and across Sindh until July 20.
He mentioned that Karachi might witness heavy rains in the last days of July and into August. Due to low air pressure, the speed of sea breezes in Karachi has decreased.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz also noted that the heat intensity in Karachi will be felt more in the next two to three days.
He further mentioned that the humidity and heat have increased in Karachi once again, similar to what was experienced in June.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz pointed out that while the weather used to improve significantly after the first week of July, there has been a noticeable increase in heat intensity each year.
