Joint session of parliament to be held again today under the chairmanship of National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf to discuss important national issues.
The joint session of parliament will be held today at 3 pm in the Parliament House, with two points on the agenda. The session will begin with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool, and the national anthem. The discussion on the movement presented on February 8 will continue in the session.
The movement was presented by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, on the overall national situation, to discuss 8 points including peace and security, terrorism, etc.
The session will also discuss matters related to economic policy, Jammu and Kashmir, recognition of national institutions, China-Pakistan economic corridor, increasing population, climate change, and foreign policy. Senators of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party have also decided to participate in the joint session of parliament today.
