Federal Interior Minister and President of PML-N Punjab, Rana Sanaullah Khan, has said that no matter how much effort is put in, the elections in Punjab will not be held on May 14, and the elections across the country will be held together once the term is completed this year.
Addressing a gathering at the Iftar party organized at the residence of PML-N Faisalabad leader and former chairman UC 106, Haji Ghulam Mustafa, the Interior Minister said that under the supervision of the caretaker setup, PML-N leadership, including Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, will participate in the general elections to be held throughout the country in October.
He said that Nawaz Sharif will not only be among his people by reaching Pakistan before the elections but will also start the journey of national development and progress from where he left, making the country a beacon of rapid development.
He said that all PML-N leaders and workers should start their election campaign from now on and spread their message to every street and neighborhood with full force and energy, explaining how the turmoil caused by the four-year-long imposed chaos by using the crutches of some institutions had pushed the country into the abyss of destruction.
