On the fourth day of the business week, the dollar depreciated by another 25 paise at the interbank, after which the dollar fell to Rs 279.25.
At the end of the business day yesterday, the rate of the US currency closed at 279 rupees 50 paise.
On the other hand, stability was seen in the stock market, the 100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange reached 62 thousand 177 points with an increase of 198 points.
