Islamabad: The government has increased the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 35 per litre and kerosene oil and light diesel will increase by 18 rupees per liter.
The finance minister, Ishaq Dar, announced in a press conference that the prices of petrol and diesel will increase by 35 rupees per liter while the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel will increase by 18 rupees per liter.
Ishaq Dar said that there are reports of artificial scarcity of petroleum products, and that the prices of petroleum products have increased globally by approximately 11 percent.
The finance minister, Ishaq Dar, stated that there will be an announcement regarding the increase in petroleum product prices at 11 a.m. today.
It should be noted that after the increase of 35 rupees, the new price of petrol became 249 rupees 80 paisa and the price of diesel became 262 rupees 80 paisa. The new price of kerosene has increased by Rs 18 to Rs 189 83 paisa and the price of light diesel has increased to Rs 187 per litre.
