On the third day of the business week in the exchange market, the rupee continued to strengthen against the dollar, and the dollar became cheaper in the interbank market.
According to currency dealers, the value of the dollar in the interbank market decreased by 10 paisas, bringing the dollar to 278.40 rupees in the interbank market. Yesterday, the dollar’s value in the interbank market had also decreased by 10 rupees.
It is noteworthy that during the last week, fluctuations were observed in the value of the dollar in currency markets. In the open market, the dollar increased by 12 paisas to 280.37 rupees, while in the interbank market, the dollar remained stable at 278.51 rupees this week.
