Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to introduce a new trophy for the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). The opening ceremony of PSL will be held on February 13 in Multan.
The trophy unveiling ceremony will be held on February 9 at Shalimar Bagh Lahore and Chairman PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi will unveil the trophy.
Sources say that the new trophy is more elaborate than before with the use of 25 carat gold and the owners of six teams have also been invited to the unveiling ceremony.
The trophy of PSL 7 will not be presented again and will remain with Lahore Qalandar while the opening ceremony of PSL will be held on February 13 in Multan.
