Former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan has sent a letter to the Chief Justice on Maryam Nawaz’s criticism against the judges of the Supreme Court.
In this letter, he requested the Chief Justice to take immediate action to protect the reputation of the court, honor and dignity of the judges.
Anwar Mansoor said that he wants to inform the Chief Justice about the conversation on behalf of Maryam Nawaz in Sargodha on February 23, the leader of Muslim League (N) Maryam Nawaz spoke against the Supreme Court and judges in Sargodha Jalsa and incited the people.
Former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor said that Maryam Nawaz made allegations against the judges and the Supreme Court without any evidence, Maryam Nawaz criticized the members of the Somoto case bench on the issue of elections.
According to Anwar Mansoor, the purpose of criticizing the judges was to influence and obstruct the process of justice, contempt of court action should be taken against Maryam Nawaz.
