Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced extensive Suhoor and Iftar arrangements for the holy month of Ramadan, stating that this year provisions will be made to serve nearly 500,000 individuals, marking one of the significant welfare measures planned for the month.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, the governor discussed the preparations being made for Ramadan and highlighted that various welfare activities will also be initiated, with priority given to supporting underprivileged families across the province.
He further announced that essential items worth more than PKR 90 million will be distributed during Ramadan, including medicines, laptops, motorcycles, ration bags, and sewing machines, ensuring that practical relief reaches as many deserving households as possible.
Kamran Tessori added that the business community has full confidence that the donated goods will be distributed transparently and will reach those who genuinely deserve assistance.
