The trial against PTI Chairman in the Judicial Complex attack case and five other terrorism cases has been initiated. The police have filed chargesheets against PTI Chairman and others in the Anti-Terrorism Court, declaring all individuals, including Imran Khan, as the accused.
The court has summoned all the accused, including Imran Khan, for today and directed them to ensure their presence. The accused will be provided with copies of the chargesheets upon appearance.
It is evident that Chairman PTI, Asad Umar, and Ali Nawaz Awan, along with other accused, face five cases filed in Sengjani Police Station, Ramanah Police Station, and Golra Police Station.
The notices for appearance in the Golra and Sengjani cases were delivered to Chairman PTI, where Ahmed Owais received the notices.
The notice for appearance was issued by the judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Abul Hassanat.
Remember that Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, is currently on bail in all five cases.
During the hearing yesterday, Judge Abul Hassanat remarked, “Bring Imran Khan here first; it’s a matter of kings. Does he not know that the case has been called? Call the Registrar, send him here first.”
Judge Abul Hassanat further stated, “Who will put the bell around the cat’s neck? We are here to save this country. Conduct a fair investigation. I am a very clear person; I won’t make any compromises. If there has been any injustice in the investigation, I won’t let it go. I will take action against the police according to the law.”
