The government’s sealing of Sheikh Rashid’s residence, Lal Haveli. 7 units including Lal Haveli, former home minister Sheikh Rasheed’s residence in Rawalpindi, were sealed.
The metropolitan administration of Rawalpindi sealed Lal Haveli, the residence of Sheikh Rashid, in collaboration with the federal investigation agency (FIA) and the police. Sheikh Rashid, the head of the Awami Muslim League, was informed that Lal Haveli was sealed at 7 a.m. without prior notice.
Lal Haveli is his personal property, if this is an illegal seizure then go to court, file a case against us and declare me ineligible.
They said that there are more people besides myself in the premises of Lal Haveli.
He further said that he was not there when Lal Haveli was sealed, he was in Islamabad last night due to fear of arrest.
