The Lahore High Court accepted the petition of Tehreek-e-Insaf against not holding elections in Punjab and asked for detailed reports from the parties by February 3. The court issued notices to the Governor through the Principal Secretary and the Election Commission.
Justice Jawad Hassan of Lahore High Court said that important legal points have been raised in PTI’s application. He inquired why the principal secretary of the governor did not come. What are you talking about? Why didn’t you come after reading the case? The court expressed its anger on the federal lawyer.
