Rawalpindi: During a clash between security forces and Khawarij militants in South Waziristan, 5 terrorists were killed, and 4 soldiers were martyred.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was a fierce exchange of fire during the clash between security forces and Khawarij in the Karama area of South Waziristan, as a result of which 5 terrorists were killed.
A spokesman of the Pakistan Army said that 4 security personnel were also martyred during the operation against the terrorists, the martyred include Naib Subedar Taib Shah, Lance Naik Gulab Zaman, Lance Naik Muzmal Mehmood, and Lance Naik Habibullah.
ISPR says that the clearance operation is underway to eliminate possible Khawarij in the area, Pakistan’s security forces are determined to protect the borders and eliminate terrorism.
