Karachi: On the second day of the business week, the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a strong bullish trend at the start of trading. The 100 index surged by over 1,000 points, reaching 104,361 points.
However, during trading, the market suddenly experienced a bearish trend, and after the decline, the 100-index was trading at 103,645 points.
It is worth mentioning that on the first day of the business week, the market closed at 103,274 points, recording an increase of 1,917 points by the end of trading.
Meanwhile, the depreciation of the US dollar continues in the interbank market.
On the second day of the business week, the US dollar depreciated by 7 paisas in the interbank market, trading at Rs. 277.90, down from Rs. 277.97.
